Financial Contributions
We encourage those who want to contribute to come and see our tutoring sites to see the value of donations and we are happy to meet with those interested in sponsoring portions of the program. Press and marketing opportunities are available.
- Financial contributions can be sent to BEACON at 9535 Linton Hall Road, Bristow, VA 20136.
- BEACON has strong program management and strict financial practices, ensuring that all donations are matched at least 2 for 1 for service value through volunteer time and in-kind donations.
Examples of what your donations may purchase include:
- $25 A new book for a learner
- $50 Sponsor a new learner with intake, books and materials
- $100 Sponsor a new tutor with training and materials
- $500 Sponsor a tutor training
- $1,000 Sponsor a life-skills workshop
- $2,500 Purchase GED or ESL software for the mobile computer lab
- $5,000 Open a new class site
