ABE - Adult Basic Education
The ABE/BL (Adult Basic Education/Basic Literacy) program serves those individuals who need assistance in learning to read, write or do basic arithmetic. Many ABE/BL learners are from rural areas, have learning disabilities or require other special attention to fulfill their goals. Generally the Laubach Way to Reading and the Challenger curriculums are used with ABE/BL learners to help them master the basic building blocks of reading and writing with interesting, adult focused materials.
